We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Platform Engineer to join our innovative team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about infrastructure, automation, and system performance. As a Platform Engineer, you will have a key role in testing, developing, supporting, and optimizing our platform while ensuring that it meets the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability. This is a permanent rol in our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

What you are going to do

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure

  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Helm

  • Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Helm deployments

  • Work on cloud networking to ensure secure and efficient connectivity

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments

  • Participate on on-call rotation for 3rd line support

  • Write scalable and efficient api's using Golang

  • Manage version control and automation workflows using Git

  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and automation processes

  • Research emerging technologies, stay informed about the latest technologies and trends in platform engineering and implement improvements to keep our platform ahead of the curve

Job requirements

  • Strong experience with architecting and implementing (AWS cloud) networking topologies including but not limited to VPN configurations

  • Strong understanding and working experience with AWS services such as EKS, VPC, IAM, Route53, ECR

  • WSO2 IS and APIM experience

  • Expertise in Terraform and CloudFormation (AWS) for infrastructure automation

  • Strong proficiency in Golang, Python, Java or similar programming/scripting languages

  • Good understanding of Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration

  • Hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines

  • Solid knowledge of Git and Git-based workflows/pipelines

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluency in English is required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools. (example: Elastic (ELK) deployments, Cloud Watch, etc)

  • Experience with Boomi product stack
