This is what you get

We are looking for a colleague for at least 32 to 40 hours. You will receive a salary between €3.500 and €5.000 gross per month (depending on seniority). You get 27 days of vacation, you have flexible working hours and we work hybrid (mix from home or at the office). You will also receive a performance-related bonus of a maximum of one month's salary.

What are you going to do

As a Front-end Cloud Engineer you’ll develop our customer-facing customer care portal and its underlying systems, which allows high-profile customers like higher education, car sharing platforms, global transport and credit card companies, etc. get insight and control their iPaaS (integration platform as a service). The portal is the central point of control for our customers but also for our operational engineers, which abstracts our own backend system. This backend system (Built with AWS Lambda) abstracts a number of components that allows us to manage the infrastructure and applications for our customers in a fully automated way. You’ll work in 2-weekly sprints continuously improving the UX, the backend systems and can also assist your team members in the improvement of the platform.

Job requirements

Tasks and responsibilities

  • You have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience developing complex front-end applications with React, being familiar with using TypeScript for type safety and SASS/CSS for styling.
  • Experience with front-end testing libraries like Selenium is a plus
  • You understand the importance of well-defined RESTful APIs
  • You are proficient with the GIT version control system
  • You have experience with AWS Lambda and are interested in further developing your skills in cloud computing
  • You have experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (e.g., Jira).
  • You have knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles
  • You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
  • Knowledge of Golang or Python is a requirement, while experience with cloud infrastructure, Terraform, and Kubernetes is considered a bonus.
