We are looking for a Managed Services Engineer with a passion for IT and strong analytical skills. Do you enjoy being the first point of contact for clients and assisting them with technical challenges? Then we are looking for you! This position is located in our Colombo office in Sri Lanka.

 

This is what you get

Working with the newest technologies and of course the matching training is a daily occurrence. For this high pace environment you’ll receive a monthly salary between €1.600 and €2.600 depending on your experience. Also, you’ll receive a performance bonus based on 1 month's salary, determined by on organizational and personal goals. Furthermore, we offer an expense scheme and 14 paid vacation days next to the national holidays. All the abovementioned benefits are conditional you are based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

What are you going to do?

As a Managed Services Engineer, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers with technical inquiries, primarily focusing on supporting interfaces between various systems. You will manage integrations for public sector clients, such as Digikoppeling (ebXML and WUS) and StUF, analyze technical issues, and optimize data and process flows. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless system operations.

  • Responding to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system

  • Analyzing and resolving technical issues related to system interfaces and networks

  • Managing and maintaining integrations for public sector clients

  • Providing remote support (on-site when necessary)

  • Monitoring and improving data and process flows

  • Collaborating with other IT teams on complex technical challenges

  • Documenting technical procedures and user guides

  • Proactively monitoring systems to prevent disruptions

  • Logging incidents and resolutions in the knowledge base

Job requirements

In addition, you’re able to bring the following expertise:

  • A bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in IT or a related field

  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with or knowledge of government organizations is a plus

  • Proven experience with interface solutions is essential

  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments

  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

  • Knowledge of AWS, WSO2, Kubernetes, and/or Docker is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

  • Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented attitude

  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written

  • Interest in certifications such as WSO2, Apache Camel, AFAS, or Boomi

  • Experience documenting technical processes is a strong advantage
